2009—What Went on: the Good the Bad the Ugly
Happy New Year everyone--What a year this has been.
Tiger Woods, who I thought was the picture of virtue and the all American guy, turned out to be a cheater and adultery--go figure--and he's not the only one--Remember President Clinton--(riDICKulus)turning our white house into a den of adultery; oh, I forgot, that wasn't sex, it was only oral sex, so it didn't count--do you know they are paying this adultery millions to speak at events--go figure!!! How about the guy in Washington DC who was suppose to be protecting our Children that we sent as pages to the White House-He was gay, and was making every boy he could get his hands on gay--What a dud!!!(riDICKulus) He didn't even get prison time, while all the other poor sex offenders have to have their picture all over the Internet, and are harassed day and night. Where is his picture on the Internet????? On a light note, there was the miracle landing on the Hudson River in NY--I bet those people from that flight are really celebrating the New Year. How about the actor that is in jail for beating his wife—All that money and fame-and he would rather beat his wife—go figure—to bad Charlie Sheen. We lost a wonderful actor, Patrick Swayze from Cancer, and Michael Jackson because he wanted to sleep more than he wanted to live-he was the best dancer in the world-what a waste!!!
Ok, let’s get with the program—I believe the worst thing that happened in 2009 was the depression-well they don’t want us to say depression, but when you see stores closing, people losing their jobs, homes, cars and etc.—it spells depression. I drove by a beautiful new open shopping mall, and most of the stores were boarded up, and never opened. People I know who had good jobs, are now on unemployment, some people in business aren’t making as much as they were, so they have had to lay off people.
Next are the wars we are involved in-Iraq and Afghanistan-They claim they are protecting us, but they are really protecting muslims—now we know that radical muslims want to kill us while we sleep, fly, visit public building and etc. If they really wanted to protect us, they could get rid of all those training camps, such as the ones in Yemen—they know where the camps are—get rid of them.
To have one of our boys or girls in the military die or get maimed for life to protect muslims is simply not acceptable to me. Obama is to busy vacationing to care- or maybe he’s blind or something. What are they really protecting over there? That is the million-dollar question-or maybe the trillion-dollar question. The always say follow the money.
Cancer is one of our most potent enemies in America. I went to a cancer center the other day, and it is so sad—people going there to have treatments, some bald, some covering their head with hats and scarves, most are looking depressed and tired. There has been millions spent on research to find cures for cancer—I think this should be the number one priority in 2010. There will be 45,000 pancreatic cancers next year with only 4 out of 5 surviving the disease. If you are a cancer survivor then I say-- Go cancer survivors!!!
One of America’s problems that need to be address in 2010 is obesity. It is said that ½ the population of America is overweight. Our children sit at the computer all day long, and they get practically no exercise.
Ok, our world is full of the GOOD, BAD, AND UGLY.
We must learn to live with it and strive to be part of the GOOD.
